Markosky Appoints Hoglund as New Chief Executive Officer
From Markosky’s Announcement:
Markosky is pleased to announce that David (Dave) Hoglund, PE, has been appointed chief executive officer. He succeeds Mark A. Markosky, PE, who will serve in an advisory role as CEO Emeritus until his official retirement from the company in June 2026.

Hoglund has served as vice president of civil engineering services since August 2025 and will lead the company as it evolves and grows to meet the challenges ahead. He brings more than two decades of engineering and consulting leadership experience to the CEO role.
Hoglund’s focus will be straightforward: continue delivering the high-quality, on-time work the firm’s clients rely on while investing in the people, processes, and partnerships that keep projects moving. Clients can expect continuity in Markosky’s services, teams, and commitment to designing, improving, and protecting its communities and environment.
As Markosky’s CEO, Hoglund brings the right mix of engineering expertise, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to clients. He is committed to building on what makes Markosky strong—technical excellence, trusted relationships, and a team dedicated to doing the work the right way.
