El Paso Water Brings Families Together for a Day of Hands‑On Engineering Fun

At the start of Engineers Week 2026, El Paso families had the chance to dive into the world of engineering as El Paso Water welcomed the community to its TecH2O Learning Center. Through the DiscoverE: Transform Your Future event, the day‑long gathering shined a light on the utility’s Engineering Department, offering kids and parents an inside look at how local engineers help keep the city’s water system running.

Through interactive stations, hands‑on activities, and support from the American Council of Engineering Companies, attendees explored what engineering looks like in real life—and how young learners can shape the future of the field. The event also supported two area non‑profits.
