ACEC Indiana Celebrates Engineers Week with Statewide Classroom Visits

ACEC Indiana is celebrating the 13th year of hosting classroom visits during National Engineers Week (February 22-28, 2026). Indiana-based volunteers from ACEC Indiana, INDOT, and public works will speak at elementary, middle, and high schools across the state. Volunteers will share experiences from their careers, describe what civil engineers do on a day-to-day basis, and how their work impacts the world.

Volunteers from all member firms will visit over 250 classrooms, impacting over 8,300 students in over 100 schools.

To kick off Engineers Week, Curtis Holcom with CrossRoad Engineers, PC and Liz Walker with ACEC Indiana were invited to WISH-TV’s Daybreak segment to share information about their classroom visits and where parents and teachers can look for hands-on activities.
