ACEC Hawaii Kicks Off Engineers Week at STEM Event
The Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies (HCES) has organized today’s annual Engineers Week Kick-Off Exhibit for the public at Windward Mall Center Court in Kaneohe. The event, hosted by professional societies, government agencies, and engineering companies, allows attendees to explore exciting information tables focused on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). ACEC Hawaii will host a table at this year’s event and have SWAG, treats, and fun STEM activities for attendees. HCES is the umbrella organization of 17 major engineering societies in Hawaii.
During Engineers Week, ACEC Hawaii member firms on the Big Island will also visit the following high schools to discuss engineering careers: Waiakea High School and Hilo High School in Hilo, and Kea‘au High School in Keaau on the Big Island.
E-Week 2025 will culminate at the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies (HCES) Engineers Week Awards Ceremony on Saturday, February 22, at the Honolulu Country Club. This annual banquet recognizes the outstanding accomplishments, contributions, and achievements of individuals in different specialized fields of engineering. ACEC Hawaii congratulates this year’s honorees:
