ACEC Celebrates a Standout 2026 Coalitions Conference in Houston
ACEC thanks everyone who participated in the 2026 ACEC Coalitions Conference in Houston.
More than 100 engineering professionals from across the country attended this year’s event to exchange ideas, tackle industry challenges, and shape the future of engineering. A key part of that exchange happens through ACEC’s Coalitions, peer networks organized around firm size, professional discipline, and shared interests that allow engineering leaders to collaborate on business challenges, policy issues, and emerging industry trends.
To reflect the diverse needs of our members, ACEC brought two powerful experiences together under one roof—a Practice Area Summit and a Small Firm Workshop—each offering a high-impact environment for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and practical insights.
Members’ energy, expertise, and willingness to collaborate made the conference a standout success, further advancing the engineering profession and strengthening the coalitions that support it. Together, we’re building a stronger, smarter, and more connected engineering community.
ACEC thanks the ACEC Business Insurance Trust, who served as the conference’s 2026 Title Sponsor.

“Presenting on Integrating Geospatial Services to Realize ROI at the ACEC Practice Area Summit was especially rewarding. The small‑group format fostered open, practical dialogue, and the chance to connect more informally with attendees at the networking event after and over dinner made the experience even more valuable.”
Bill Swope, CP, Geospatial Technical Expert, Olsson

“As a Professional Engineer transitioning into operations management, I found the roundtable and informal discussions to be the most valuable parts of the workshop. While I certainly learned several new concepts, the greatest takeaways came from hearing about the personal successes and lessons learned by both the other participants and the facilitator. Those shared experiences provided insights that were especially meaningful and practical.”
